Documentary on CNAPT "Against TB"
Ceylon National Association for Prevention of Tuberculosis [CNAPT] which was established as a pioneer NGO in Sri Lanka in 1948.
‘In 1940s and 50s when TB was rampant in the country, the government was in a difficult situation to control it. In considering the national need to be involved as a social service, the CNAPT was established and fully involved in TB control activities, throughout the country. When TB got under control, the responsibility was given over to the government and the CNAPT limits their involvement only to facilitating activities
This video was compiled in 2003 for the Ceylon National Assossiation for Prevention of tuberculosis (CNAPT). It has been produced by CNAPT.
